Willamina brings the "Galloping Goose" home after 78 years

The "Goose" ran from Willamina to Grand Ronde in passenger service from 1921 to 1928.

Purchased by C,K&S and used to carry passengers, mail and express between Condon and Kinzua from 1929 to 1953.

Willamina brings this rare Rail Bus home from the Hood River area to begin restoration in early 2007.

Heavily modified over the past 20 years, the goose will begin her restoration with the help of local train enthusiast.
